I made this poster a few years back for a class, but it’s all the more relevant to me today now that I’ve discovered the source of one of my inspirations.

Another month, another festival acceptance! Transmission will be screening next month at the British Animation Film Festival in London!
And a reminder, the film will be screening in Portland next week on the opening night (May 17th) of the Northwest Animation Festival, and again in Eugene on May 31st when the festival repeats!

Phat Beach (1996)
I honestly just love this film for the fact that Darren Aronofsky was the Second Unit Director. Also the Tommy Lister cameo was pretty fantastic. And Coolio.

I spent the last couple months going through every single film Steven Soderbergh ever directed, including documentaries, shorts, and his single season HBO series, K Street.
The last one I watched was Magic Mike, and I just really dug Riley Keough’s hair and her pet pig.
